Default Quick clip of exhaust

Recently got a new muffler. Old one was too loud for me, so I decided to tone it down. After discussing it with the local mechanic we decided on the 24-inch magnaflow. It is pretty nice, and surprisingly quiet especially at lower rpm. It's really interesting how quiet this thing is because you can see straight through the muffler. I know a lot of people don't want the extremely gaudy exhaust but want performance so I made this video as a possible exhaust choice. Also put a short clip of the new intake.

Performance Mods:
-K&N Cold Air Intake
-Magnaflow 24-inch exhaust SI/DO.

The video is recorded with both windows down.
Sorry for the weird camera angles, it was the only way I could record without holding the camera.

Nice, I certainly regretted the 14" as soon as I heard it on mine, almost sounded like a track car w/ a v6. After I dumped my exhaust it got better, I still wish I had gotten an 18''. Did you have the stock y replaced?

Thanks,
I'm guessing it's still there considering it's single in/dual out. Hopefully it still helped my performance somewhat doing what I did haha.

Kinda off topic, but Derrick could you explain to me what gears do? I really don't mind the acceleration during 1st gear in my truck but once it hits second it gets quite bogged down. Would new gears help this?

alright, picture yourself on a bicycle...a 21-speed let's say. put yourself in the lowest gear possible...the one that's REALLY hard to pedal, but you go fast with it. NOW, put yourself in 21st gear, where you are pedeling a million times a minute...BUT you have such a huge amount of torque that you're able to climb hills with it. you can't descend DOWN hills with it because your feet can't possibly spin 9319482398498 times a second to go like 10mph.

did ya understand that? i took it from one extreme to the other. but bigger gears put your more towards that FASTER axle/pedal speed...where you have a ton more torque, but you can only go so fast.
