02 Front differential axle

i am trying to replace my CV axle and differential axel on the passenger side of my 02 ram with independent front suspension. i have everything apart but I am at a loss on how to remove the shaft from the differential. I no there is a ring on the end of it but I can not figure out how to remove it. Any help would be really appreaciated.
