New Suspension System Monday!!
Yea your not the only hard head out there trust me, I get told all the time that same thing but I have loved getting my hands greasy ever since I was like 8. It's just what I love to do.
man, if my dad owned a big business there would be NO school for me...he and a friends started a safety consulting business and were doing pretty good even at the beginning, but it ended up being a conflict of interest with his federal job (Health and Hospitals)
and mmstar, i still have it. I ride it alot, but i also hunt alot and need it for that...problem is, its got 30" outlaws on it and gets me muddy as hell just going to the blind
and thats nice having an opportunity to fall back on something if things go wrong. We're lucky, alot of people are kicked out at 18 or thrown to the wolves when entering college. Good parents help get you through school just by being there (my mom brings me food sometimes), ya know?

What are all those bars called in between the axle and the chassis.
I've always wondered what those are, in some trucks i see them going from the middle of the truck to the axles. If i were to guess they're there to keep everything straight and prevent it from ripping off the truck, but i'm not sure what theyr'e called.
They're what's alluded me all this time, I want to figure out what those are what they mean and how they work.
I Just need some names of what they are.

Ok well we almost have all the old stuff off, then it's time for the new. So far everything has gone smoothly. Hopefully the same will go for the new stuff.
The bars between the frame and axle are control arms. When you see them frther back toward the center of the truck those are called long arms. Basically long arms allow for a better ride because the angles are greatly decreased. Most of how suspension systems perform are based on angles along with quality of parts, spring rate, shock size/quality.
