Default got some new door speakers...

so i got some new front door speakers for the truck. they are like 3 times bigger than the factory ones, but it was a good deal. waaaay better than the factory set. but here are a few pics...

OMG....Why did you do that? Im not keen on making changes like thosee that cannot be reversed if you ever needed to although I am sure it does sound better......LOL

you should have made a spacer so the speaker fit behind the door panel

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but that looks terrible, like your door has grown a tumor or something. I'm sure it sounds better, but in my opinion, interior panels should never be cut up for the sake of audio.

wooft :/ i agree with drangiz... looks like a bigass tumor. lol. did you really cut that big oval in your door panel?
havent seen you on here in awile tuned... where you been?

i know it looks bad, i just whipped it up real quick yesterday just to get it in. im gonna fiberglass them in and smooth them out... this is just step one. i guess i shoulda mentioned that in the first post haha

haha, yeah it does look bad, so i figured id just f/g 'em in so they wont look THAT bad. their 500w VR3 6x9's. im runnin 'em through 2 alpine type R crossovers.
