Default Underseat sub box question

So I'm looking to build an underseat sub box for my type r's but my question is does anybody have this setup? I want to seal the box and still have it loud and clean.

I'm just worried there no way to have enough airspace.

Any input would be great

^yep. but if you want to build it yourself i would add spacers to lift the seat up so you can get more space. my box is 1.3cu/ft

I have a tiny ported box (both the box and the port, lol), and my typer R's still sound pretty decent. Im used to really really loud stereos, so of course Im not anywhere close to satisfied. But for the average enthusiast, it should suffice.

+1 on 'Bullets post. If ya gonna build it yourself, go as big as possible. IIRC, 'Bullet just built the top of the box and sealed it up that way. DirtyDog yanked his carpet out and used the floorpan as the bottom of the box (I guess kinda similar to 'Bullets). I may be wrong, they'll chime in Im sure.

Just to give ya some other design ideas. I have to figure out something for my setup, need more powa!! (and space, lol)
