this is what the hub looks like so it does seat into the knuckle.. are you replacing the hub to? If so you can maybe get an air hammer on the inside and try and push it out, I bet its seized in there, I dont know about heating it up, it might screw up the bearings and the air hammer will deffinitely screw it up.

no the hub is not gonna be removed i called the shop up the street and they said they just cut the ball joints off and then pull the axle out with the hub still attached to the knuckle.....im gonna try that it could either do the trick or might be sittin on jack stands for a longer time lol

update....cut the ball joints off got the hub/knuckle out ...pulled shaft out went and rented a press came home and the pres was broke looks like tom it,ll be finished up

ah right on, glad to hear you got it on its way to being done.. what a hassle just to do ball joints, I hate this bull**** with sealed hub bearings and that crap..

so I got the ball joints out n put the new ones in but now there's no way to get knuckle on them with the hub attached n the driveshaft in place....i bought a new hub but it dosent look like I can still get the old one out started with a grinder and bangin the **** out of it...anyone have any suggestions??
