Default Heating Problems??

My last effort to get help before i go to the $$Mechanic$$. My 05 dodge ram 5.7l hemi the last couple of weeks has been losing antifreeze. there is no signs (Puddles under vehicle) of fluid dripping out. with this, there heating unit inside only blows cold air unless i accelerate fast, it will produce some heat and then turn to cold. I have changed the t-stat 2 times in the past 2 weeks and topped off the fluid levels. there is no sign of coolant in the car or a smell of coolant in the truck (Heater core). Any suggestions???

How much antifreeze are you loosing? Is it a very measurable amount? Have you checked your oil and make sure you don't have a bad head gasket?

Yes. the amounts of antifreeze being lost is measurable. need to add weekly. did notice i was low on oil and added. excuse my ignoance with auto mechanics. have changed wuite a few parts before but not real knowledeable in the actual workings of the heating system. would a head gasket cause the heating problem??
