If I did that MM (and I have thought about it) I would have too much time and money into a truck that only has a 4.7 in it. Ya know? Not that there is anything wrong with the motor, or the power it puts out for me. But thats a lot of money to still have that. I think, I am guessing thats gonna cost alot. And then have mis matching lug patterns front and rear. Idk.

Lol, thanks. I am entertaining the thought of converting it more and more. (to 2wd) I just am having trouble finding the parts at an affordable cost. I might have a lead with a guy in Cali that installed the 10 inch suspension lift. It looks like a lot of things are replaced so I might be able to get somethings off of him for cheaper than NIB. So we will see. I would like to get the locker no matter what. And maybe the winch in the future. Who knows.

just a thought maybe installing a front receiver hitch and getting a portable winch that you can put it in the front or in the back.

Im in the same boat as you OE, 4.7 with 2wd.
I have thought (dreamed) of also converting to 4wd but thats way too costly and plus like you said, thats alot of money to put into a 4.7 2wd...might as well pick up a 4x4 hemi for the same price, you know?

But anyways why are there no prices on the powertrax?
That is moving up to next on my list. after I get installed what UPS should be delivering to me soon
