Im a college student as well and I had a hard enough time getting my truck to where it is haha. I have multiple multiple jobs and got a full ride to school and I still cant afford half the stuff I want to do to my truck.... Maybe I should move down by you and do what you do cuz obviously its working.....

jusjay, no problem man, i know your not poking fun, but in all honesty, ive never drove an SRT 10, maybe i should try and find one at a dealer and test drive it. but actually over on my other forum, there was athread not too long ago about a guy test driving an SRT and said he was far from impressed and he was going to keep his cummins 24V CR and get injectors and it would be just as quick, his was mildly modded...your common tuner, exhaust and CAI with a few other easy bolt ons, dont exactl remember... but i cant say from personal experience because ive never driven one....but i have raced one back at home in Ft. Lauderdale, and it did hold its own, but it still lost. i wouldnt dare call it slow.....but didnt beat me...maybe the driver was retarded? lol. just for the record i am not knocking the SRT nor Jim Tete, i would love to have his truck, or atleast drive it...but i know what i have in my truck. sure im probably close to double his weight, sure im pushing heavy and large tires, but the amount of torque a diesel makes kinda gets rid of those set backs. only thing that has beaten me was a blown out duramax that ran an 11.2 within the next month...2 at the latest ill have dual CP3's in and maybe fire ringed as well....ill be sure to shortly after hit a track, back home in the south and get this pup on the dyno....i know guys that have similar mods to me and more or less make around 750-800 hp along with 1600 ft lbs of torque...not saying thats what mine makes because its yet to see a dyno...... YET
once again: i do not want to knock/bash my competition, i just want for the voters to simply choose which truck they like more. it is a toughy, and i wish the others best of luck!

It's not your fault, no one has done anything wrong here. I just want to see this thread stay on the topic of celebrating 5 very nice trucks.
