Yea, I think he's pretty much got this one in the bag unless there are still a few sandbaggers. Who likes the idea of comedian of the month? lol I think Rubberfrog, RH, and several others would have a serious shot at it. Just a thought.

 

I'm glad to see that the person that should have won, did win. Quite honestly, I'm surprised I did so well. Teach gives so much more than I do, I don't understand what happened there. In fact, I really should have been last as everybody on here provides so much more than I do.

 

nahh frog you have awesome tech skills and DIY vids and you add a great attitude to them. you deserve al the votes. im sure you will be up for next month

and for the record spoke with the brass ..next month we are only doing 3 members in the running , but i think this first running went well.

I only made that as a suggestion, y'all run it any way you want to. I merely thought that with 3 a month instead of 5 it would give more people who deserve the recognition a chance to win. Also, unlike the TOTM where EVERYONE here has one, only a handful really go out of their way to be informative and helpful, so if you are going to do this monthly, you'll be able to run it longer.

Personally, I'd like to see everyone deserving to be able to have a "win" under their belts over the first 6 months or so. Maybe one of the more gifted "artists" could do a little signature badge or something, I've been recognized and rewarded by the true brass here by getting shuttled up the chain of command in a relatively short time, but I'd like to see members who are NOT mods or admins get some kind of recognition. A sig badge would be a nice way for future winners to have some recognition. Of course I've not won yet, is still over a day to go. First time I was ever up for TOTM I lost a 20'some vote lead with only about 8 hours to go to a relatively stock diesel, ended up losing by 3 votes in that one...

 

I suppose the win came down to weight in the end after all??.......lol
