Default Hard shift coming out of park

Whenever i put the truck in reverse, or drive, it seems to jump into gear. What are some of the reason's for doing so. Truck has 31k on it.

Yeah it does it when its cold, so im guessing its normal but cant be good for the tranny. Wonder if anything could be done to fix it because weed's truck does it to, and hes in a warmer state.

We have our cold days and it doesnt take much for metal and liquid to absorb both heat and cold. Ive been meaning to go under the truck and check my universal joints for play.
