Default Trying to flush radiator

I am trying to flush my radiator. Whats the best way to remove the tabs off the radiator hose? Also, where are the radiator drain plugs located?

Don't know what tabs your talking about, unless your talking about the clamp tabs, in which you just squeeze them together with pliers. The drain should be on the bottom, either a twist with your finger style(usually pretty tight), or a big phillips.

Yep, I use some big channel locks to squeeze and move mine back and then wriggle the hose loose and off. As Fathead said, the drain is at the bottom on the drivers side. I use a wrench for that one.

Every time I've done a flush, I always try to park the vehicle on an incline to help drain the motor.

The factory uses Contant Tension Clamps on the Rad hoses. They don't like to be removed and re-installed (they lose spring pressure and sometimes leak). Can't you just open the drain **** on the rad and use it to drain & flush??

Did mine this morning. Took about 2 hours and that included a new fan clutch and thermostat install. Never took a hose off, the drain on the bottom turns toward the drivers side w/ a 5/8" wrench, after 1/4 turn it should push out and away from the radiator another 1/4 turn, then start draining. I got mine up a little in temp turned on the heater and drained. Filled up radiator w/ distilled water, started up till term opened, drained again. Let it cool a little, filled up w/ 50/50 mix, brought up to operating temp, filled and burped till full.
