Default opinions on this ram? with pics

hey guys, new to the site. i just sold my beater (90 nissan pickup, 251k miles) and want to upgrade to something a little nice and like the 3rd gen rams. this will be my daily driver and i don't want to spend more than 10gs on it. my other car is an 02 transam ws6 that i try and keep the miles off of.

i found this one locally, 02 ram, 4.7 and 4x4 like i want. i wanted 4 doors but this one has low miles and a decent price. haven't test driven it yet, but the carfax is clean. the paint wasn't in great condition but thats all i could see from the outside.

Pictures are a little hazy but looks like a nice car.
Do some studying on this Forum to see what the most comon problems are with that year.

For example the rear differential has a tendancy to get damaged by failing retainer clips in the clutchpack and in the worst case it can eat your gears and cause a lot of damage and expensive repairs.

And be aware the dodge is a high consumer if you use it as your daily driver( and you make a lot of miles) it might generate a lot of extra costs only in gasoline, apart from the maintenance

If you are making a decent investment, I would not settle for something that does not have all the options you are looking for. I would keep searching until you find exactly what you are looking for.

I AGREE 100%. do it right the first time and you wont have to do it again. my first ram was a regular cab, and i loved it, but that back seat is essential. for storage, carrying people. i wont ever buy a regular cab again, to me theres no reason not to buy a quad cab.

buy exactly what you want, you will find a deal especially on a pre 06 model

Don't settle for anything less than a mega cab!
