I heard a hissing noise the other day so i sprayed some belt dressing on tne belt and i am just wondering if this sounds normal.This is starting the truck for the first time in the morning.

i didnt hear any hissing... could be my crappy speakers tho...

is the defrost or AC on when makes the sound? my truck will hiss for awile usually after shutting it off. it is just the AC decompressing (defrost uses AC)

try turning off your heater/air and all other acessories and see if it still does it...
