I don't know if I trust myself to do it lol, I will never stop kicking myself if I mess up.

I told him I wanted the grille painted, front bumper starting at the license plate down, back bumper, door handles and tailgate handle.

i didnt either and look how mine turned out. its only paint so if you mess up sand it back down and re-shoot it. you will be fine. get a quote on the bumpers powdercoated i wouldnt paint over them...

start small with the handles....take you time and do full sweeps....or even start with the grill you can always resand and repaint....

What do you think about me taking the side mirror covers off and door handle covers off. Painting the door handle covers to color match and leaving the window area blacked out?

Might as well paint the handles and gas cover as well? and can they not paint that little black plastic piece under the bumper as well? Debadge?

The stock gas cover will go back on so I won't need to worry about that. He can paint the bottom part of the front bumper but if I do that I'm going to want to do the entire truck and that will be 700 bucks. Not worth it IMO. So I'm just figuring out some alternatives.

Why would you do the entire truck just bc you did that little bumper lip?

yeah it would look weird to have that painted blue and then have the grill and rest of the bumper chrome
