Default Quick Question?

Will driving around with the tow/haul mode on while not towing or hauling mess anything up. I had it on while hauling a 4-wheeler and it made my exhaust sound a whole lot better. Just curious.

not one bit. a lot of people do this regularly. some claim you get better mileage because it keeps the rpms higher (less effort to move the truck, especially on an engine that suffers on the low end). I tried doing a few tanks in O/D off the whole time and didnt notice any difference in mpg, but certainly in exhaust tone

Thanks. I just like to check before I do anything big or small free or not to my truck. Would you recomend taking it off before I decide to go WOT off the line against another perdon?

I have found that I get faster 0-60 times with the tow/haul on as compared to what I get with it off.

That's good to know. I love seeing everybody's trucks on here like the 2 above this post. I always find something I want when I see one, that is until I see the next persons. I wish I was......better not say it.

Your way to smart to be outsmarted by a rookie like me. I am just reading the post and trying to figure out what I really need to get the best performance out of my truck without spending tons of money or doing a engine swap. I dont mind spending money on stuff that is proven to work im just talkin like turbos or super chargers. I have really been leaning on making my own intake for my truck. I have heard pretty good things about them. Im just trying to get a parts list together.
