not one bit. a lot of people do this regularly. some claim you get better mileage because it keeps the rpms higher (less effort to move the truck, especially on an engine that suffers on the low end). I tried doing a few tanks in O/D off the whole time and didnt notice any difference in mpg, but certainly in exhaust tone

I have found that I get faster 0-60 times with the tow/haul on as compared to what I get with it off.

Your way to smart to be outsmarted by a rookie like me. I am just reading the post and trying to figure out what I really need to get the best performance out of my truck without spending tons of money or doing a engine swap. I dont mind spending money on stuff that is proven to work im just talkin like turbos or super chargers. I have really been leaning on making my own intake for my truck. I have heard pretty good things about them. Im just trying to get a parts list together.
