Question I need help please!!!

i just bought a tuff country 2 inch spacer but the spacer itself only measures 1 inch thick. Some people have told me that this is correct and some say that it doesnt sound right... so i am trying to figure out if i should return it and by a different brand or keep and see what it looks like after installation...
any suggestions or opinions?

I don't think it's right. A 2" spacer is 2" tall. People say they got three inches out of the lift. I think it's because they had the spring out and it lengthened. When you put the spring back in over a day or so, it will go back to the same size. IMO and only IMO there's no way to get a 2" lift out of a 1" spacer. Where does the other inch come from??????? I've heard of guys on here which is the majority say when they put the spacer on it actually dropped over some time 1/4 to a 1/2 inch. So I don't know how you would gain an inch. I'd love to be told how this happens though for education.
