I have noticed that aboout a week and half ago my truck would make a winning or whistling noise frim under the hood only when i press the throttle. sounds like it is coming from the right side of the engine. I have never heard it before so I know it cant be normal. Any ideas?

 

pop the hood while it's running and rev it up from the throttle body and see where it's coming from. I'd venture to say probably your alternator.

 

tensioner pulley maybe....spray it with some lube....
