I wonder, there was a guy in the V6 section that made the arm rest that he got, that had not storage a console. He just cut it open and it was all there besides the hinges. I wonder if it would be the same with this? If they had anything before 1980 in the pick n pull near me I would go down there and cut the seats of our truck up to find out.

The more I think of this approach the more complicated it becomes. Would it look suspicious if I requested a 2005 with slate cloth interior?
