Default 2wd leveling kits 05

I've been lookin for a nice leveling kit (even 4" suspension lifts" for my 2wd single cab truck for a while now, everything has an if, and, n' but to it. Like kit can only be used with quad cabs, or 4x4, or cannot be used with stock tires, anyone know a smooth riding leveling kit or small ( no higher than 6") suspension lift kit out there?
Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for something larger than say a 2" leveling kit? How high do you want it? The problem with going any higher than say 2 or 3" is that you'll be changing out the spindle most likely and to make the tires not rub on your suspension components you need an aftermarket rim with atleast 4.5" of backspacing.

i'm looking for a 3" + lift so i can put 35" tires on it, but the problem i'm finding with most lift kits is can't be used without the truck being 4x4. and another thing i've been noticing is "cannot be used with stock tires"

it explained it cannot be used because of back spacing, and i'm not sure what that is or what i'd need to change my wheel to too avoid rubbing.

Get a 2" level (coil spring spacer up front) longer shocks of course and a body lift. That will make plenty of room for 35"s.

if you don't want to replace your stock wheels with aftermarket ones with the proper offset and backspacing, then use simple, inexpensive wheel spacers.
I'd not recommend them for a serious off-roader or hauler, but for general use, they are fine...

I'd say something like this. It does say you have to have 4.5 " of backspacing on your rim, but I do believe that that's only because of the size tire they're suggesting. I'm sure you could run that on your stocker's. Just for the simple fact you're not changing the factory spindle. I have their 2" coils and didn't have to change rims. You may call them and ask if you're interested in a kit.

Yeah a 2wd to fit 35's you are going to need a 6 inch lift.

A 4wd you can do 2 inch lift to "Fit" 35's

i'm looking for a decent one because i treat my truck like a truck, not a toy. i don't go mudding what so ever or haul extremely heavy loads but i do rough it up a little bit because it CAN handle it. so buying a to simple one i think would be dangerous for the chances of it sucking that bad.

i found this cheap 3" suspension
http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/CSCDX2.html
but, what i don't understand or trust is the fact that it has a picture of a single cab when when i read the details it says it only fits a quad cab

and also i beleive 3" will fit 35's even on a 2wd, found the info on this site from https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...d-fitment.html

and thanks, this is pretty much what i'm looking for. i'll call em up and see about the wheels, i want to change them anyway but i figured i'd get the lift now and buy tires / wheels when i get more cash to see if i can find and used wheels for cheaper

edit : and also read somewhere rough country lifts ride was uncomfortable.
hence the name "rough country" i guess
