Default Brake Issue

So I recently got a new (to me) truck, as detailed here https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...-best-day.html . I asked there but got no response, so here is a new thread.

The truck has one minor issue, that I knew about going in and was made well aware of. When driving, you goto brake at say a redlight, and as the brakes are engaging, when the speedo hit exactly 13-15 MPH, the ABS pulses like crazy and makes what I can only describe as a sort of, well, "farting noise", along with feeling a pulse in the pedal. Now I have checked and the brake fluid, pads, and rotors all seem fine. This only ever happens while braking and at exactly 13-15 MPH, as shown by the speedo. Normal driving and such never causes it. My guess is that the ABS sensor in one of the front hubs is going bad, and causing it flip out like above. That's just my guess. What I'd like to know is what all of you guys think it is. Hopefully, not the hub, becuase it's like 200 bucks a piece and a pain in the *** to do myself, but if so, I can and will swap it out.

As I also said there, it does have an aftermarket brake controller for a trailer installed.

Has anyone here had this issue, or have any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.

Why not unplug the ABS from the hubs and see if that fixes it. Then you can narrow it down to one wheel.

+1 on that. If that doesn't fix it, I know a warped rotor can act up at varying speeds. Just another thing to think about if it doesn't help. A warped rotor will pulse your pedal too.
