Default Non-monotonous spark plug question

Before I get hounded by millions of members telling me to use the search feature, I did already do this to kinda double check my homework.
I know everyone says to use copper plugs in the Hemi, I even told that to the mechanic when I got my tune-up last year, and used the search at that time to see what I should use.
Today when doing a little reading homework on the Hemi out of a Hemi service manual you might want to call it, it was calling for the use of double platinum plugs to be put in the engine.
Now, can anyone tell me what is right? The book is one for actual teaching purposes on the Hemi engine, and it's not just a generic Hemi, it is over a 2005 Dodge Hemi that it covers. I was told that the ones I have now are no good, because they still have an iron core on it, and the reverse polarities that the truck sends through the spark plugs are no good on them. Anyone have any insight on this, or anything that they can say is true or a load of bs?

Reverse polarities? Hemi service manual we "might" want to call it? I'm dying to know what that is...Well, the "official" MOPAR issued 2005 Ram parts manual lists SPRE14MCC4 as the spark plug, which is the RE14MCC4 in Champion speak. Me personally, I had good luck with Iridiums, but I only got them because they were pretty much given to me (16 Iridium plugs is $$$).

I say might want to call it because I didn't see what the front cover of it was, to see exactly what it was titled. All I saw was that it had many specifications and pictures and explanations over what is in the Hemi. It didn't show how to take things apart and repair them and what-not, but it was one that was put out and shown to certified ASE Master Techs in a demonstration of a Hemi, and used in a class when they did things for working on a Hemi engine in a 2005 Dodge Ram.

One thing you will learn in life is an engineer tells you how it should work while a tech tell you how it really works. The book isnt always right.
