True. That's why I have a nice little tool kit that I keep in my truck to use when other people lock themselves out. I love it when people with a skill like this teach it to me.

OMG..........you guys do know you can take your VIN and license and go to the dealer and have a key made right. The chipped ones are more costly but without the chipped I paid like $10 when I locked myself out once.

So they dont sell the window in peices?? i wonder if someone would make them? Ebay has them for 260. Ya i have an aftermarket alarm i guess when i turn the ignition to the on position it locks the doors? haha i used a screw driver to pry the rear window open and the left piece broke. here are some pics.

ouch, yeah thats costly. I had a dbag friend back in high school smash out his window to get inside and then played it off as if someone broke in so his parents would just place an insurance claim on the window and he wouldnt get in trouble. I wouldn't recommend doin that however, but I also wouldn't recommend breaking a window! lol, but yeah I thought you could buy separate pieces since it was the sliding glass back window plus I was under the impression you just busted out the small slider window.

Is there a way to disable the locking when turning the ignition on? i read the manual and it only has the option where u can disable it after going 15mph. I have an aftermarket CODEALARM security alarm that i know nothing about. I dont even have a remote for it lol
