Thank you! yeah i was heading out to pep boys yesterday morning to get the nightshades when my phone rang. it was the tire shop saying my tires were in. i made a u-turn, went had them installed, went to pep boys for the spray, went home and took the headlights out and put them back in around 6 last night. they look sweet at night, ill try to get a pic tonight.

SMKNRAM - im cool with a little light bleeding through. tomorrow or sat im ordering hids for the heads and fogs and if it lets too much light through ill paint em solid black. you cant really tell now at night.

 

tires look great. not a fan of the eyelids at all actually. i think they need to be colormatched or not at all. they remind me of a girl with WAY too much eyeshadow. doesnt look "mean" like eyelids are supposed to...

looks like im in the minority that doesnt like it, and its your truck not mine. if you like it, dont change it

 

yeah well dupli-color doesnt make my paint so id have to get it from www.paintscratch.com and id have to pay $46 for a can of paint and clearcoat including shipping which sucks so ill deal with the black for now

Thats a beautiful thing my friend! looks like i may get a few cans so i can do my mirrors and maybe my bumpers. when you did your mirrors how many coats did you use and did you use primer and/or clearcoat?

 

remember they are only 5oz cans. i didnt do my mirrors had a shop do them. on the handles i did 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. but now i would recommend doing about 5 coats of clear to give it more of a shiny look.

 

tires look bitchin

Not a real big fan of eyelids on 05 and older headlights... I think it looks best on the newer housing. Still did a good job though.
