New to this...
So I was thinking, I'm 30 years old and have always been one of the guys with the nice car, but never the guy with the sound system. I have never owned anything more than a aftermarket deck, well those days are soon gonna pass. I want some bump in my truck damn-it. Not to much though. Heres what I've come up with. Any insight or tips would help, I have an idea but have never done this before.
Front doors - Alpine SPR-17S
Sub - Alpine SWE-1043
Amp - Kenwood eXcelon XR-4S
And a Fox box
If I decide to do the rear doors I just add - Alpine SPR-13C and a amp for the sub.
What do ya think what else am I gonna need?

honestley if you dont want it screaming loud and you get decent speakers like you are id try running your doors just off the h/u(a decent one) for now and just run one amp to your subs...and then later if you dont like it add another amp to your door speakers...i have been running my doors off my h/u for over a yr now(very loud) and just decided to go with them amped so soon i will be adding another....i want more power and clarity...also will be adding tweets that ill prolly run off the h/u....good luck
and also from what i been learning in my electronics class a 1 farad capacitor wouldn't be a bad thing either...ill be buying one sometime soon.....and as tuned said by good wiring stinger is the best and monster cables for your rca's can be gotten cheap on ebay....
My stock Infinity sounds good to me as far as some bump that can be turned up loud enough to be obnoxious but not loud enough, without distortion, to make ears bleed. And that's all I want out of it. Mine actually causes parts of the truck to vibrate obnoxiously before it ever gets loud enough to be ears bleeding loud. So, whatever you get, make sure you isolate against vibration as much as possible or you may have the same problem. Nothing worse than a vibrating door panel ruining some perfectly good bass boom.
