Angry tranny

ok so just had trans put in they had to put a new one got it back from the dealer and truck wouldnt shift out of second took it back and now if i get on it it wont shift unless i let off? is this normal the dealer said it was and i cant get them to look at it again what should i do

No, that's not normal. It should shift while you're still accelerating. Is the truck under warranty??? If not they have to stand by their work either way though. That's not right and I would start by talking to managers and make my way up the ladder until I was satisfied with what was either paid for or done under warranty work which ever the case. The dealer is telling you that because they don't want to go back and pull the transmission out and waste their hours fixing it properly. It's not your fault they have a moron for a mechanic doing trans. work. TAKE IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!! Don't leave until you are satisfied.

He's right... Take it back and don't let them run a line of BS on you. I'm going through the same crap with AAMCO right now and hopefully they will have it right tomorrow.

That is total crap that they are telling you that is normal behavior for the trans. Stories like this is why dealers have a bad name.

I'm glad your lawyer is happy. Hopefully he takes them all the way. That's b.s. and you shouldn't have to deal with them saying that's just the way it should be. Keep it up brother. Fight the man!
