What snow tires you running? Studs are legal here so I'd get them studded too. What if anything do you put in the back for weight?

My 04 is 4WD but it will be in my garage for another 2 or 3 months (getting lift, suspension. exhaust, paint, and oh yeah, motor is on stand getting built.) Anyhow I picked up a Jeep and it's great in the winter but I need a truck. Buddy is in the car auction business and got me a killer deal on an 05 2WD, manual, single cab with the 3.7L. Not worried about the V6 as I will be able to sell this the summer and make a couple grand.

When I was running a 2wd 03 I used 5 gal buckets full of old wheel weights...Tire shops around here give the lead scrap away. When winter was over I just melted it down for bulletts

Yeah as long as you have some weight back there you will be fine. Me and my dad both have 2wd ( He has an F150) and we do snow removal management in the winter. Usually we have between 500-1500lbs of mag. back there and I havent been stuck yet. Knock on wood. I am running Bridgestone ATs and he has General Grabbers AT2s.
