I got an email from him, yes he needs a minimum of 10 to print or he says it's not worth his time. I'm kinda ticked too cause I ordered 4.
I also found a local shop here in Ga. and the girl told me we coulda given her the art and she would have done a single run of 100 for $4.50 a piece!
We shoulda researched this a little better, coulda combined our order into one and paid $4.50 each for ours instead of $15/$12!!!

If anybody else wants any, post it here. Hopefully we can get to the 10 this guy wants to make a run. I may go up to 6, so that'll give us 7, so if 3 more guys want one, he'll run them. He also gave me a deadline of this coming friday, which is stupid. He has the master now, he could run them at anytime. What the hell does he do, destroy the plate? I dunno, I know this is John's "guy", but I think the calendar's are a little grainy and his prices/policies ain't exactly to my liking.

I got over $400 of my out-o-work money tied up in aluminum to make the sill plates and other stuff I promised out to some of you guys so coming up with $75 for a lousy 6 calendars before I collect on that stuff is gonna be tough for me.

Everyone, I have seen in person this guys work, it is top notch. We will all be very pleased with the finished product. I guarantee it.

and also, there is no cutoff date for ordering. anybody can order a calender at any time they wish, they are made to order.

when you send him payment, just say "dodge ram calender". and i will let you know when he is starting to make them so you can start sending payments.

any ?'s PM oldirtyjohn .

thats from the ordering thread. if they are "made to order", there is no reason he cant make a few more... and he said there was NO cutoff date too!
next year we will get this going earlier so we have some time to research.
AF- hopefully john can straighten this out for you

Well it seems the "deal" changed, cause this is what I got from him:

Hey Ed,

I just got one order from Aaron Vogeler, for 1 calendar, so that makes 5 with
yours.
Can you make a post on your forum, letting everyone know that this is the FINAL
chance to order a calendar?
Let them know that the final printing will be this weekend, and if they want a
calendar, that they need to order by friday afternoon.

Thanks

Mike

No, cause I also have this one he replied to after I asked if he'd make a run if I paid the difference assuming no one else ordered:

Yeah, due to time spent and initial costs, it really isnt profitable for me to
do a run any less than 10.
So if you do make a payment for 9 calendars, i'll add it to his 1 and do a run
this weekend for shipping on tuesday.

wow, Im glad the BTC decided to go with office depot or wherever rather than this guy. Offering to give him all this money and he's expressing how much of a hassle it is for him. Completely unprofessional and doesn't deserve our business. I'm sure not giving him a dollar anymore.

Basically he says IF he can get 10 orders total, he will do a FINAL run next weekend...

I wish the hell I had John's post stating: "and also, there is no cutoff date for ordering. anybody can order a calender at any time they wish, they are made to order." In this printers email or something. Cause I'd love to put that in his face. Somebody is not being truthful here.

But I promised out three calendars, which is why I ordered four. I offered to up my order to 6 just to get them, and if we don't have anyone else order I gotta pony up for 9 just to get my four and for AF to get his one...

no matter what happens, we need to get the master back from this guy. If he isnt willing to continue to print (which is against the agreement), we get the master back so we can find someone else to continue to print.
