i think jay above you will let u know i definitely keep it real. and yes a stock ram was making it through 30" of snow. clearing: definitely not. if they dont plow the roads tonight i'll get you a video tomorrow, if im not busy working. been out shoveling all last night and all day today. if your lifted you shouldnt have been doing much plowing. I'm in rockville, MD by the way.

I thought our 10 inches of snow was alot...then melted, got 5 more inches, melted, and 8 more coming tomorrow, texas weather is damn bipolar

Brothers jeep with a 4" lift and AT's (as you can see the snow is almost to his bumper), and my 2wd sitting. both had already been cleaned off last night when they had about 6" on them

haha this is standard here in alberta! Ya theres that Canadian stereotype filling in :P We had drifts 15 feet tall here about 2 months ago.

I think the main problem is high centering haha. You could have a 10 inch lift but your diff is still low to ground (depending on your tires) However its certainly better then stock ride height! I will say I have not been 4x4ing in mud yet, but i do like to do it in the snow! Best thing is is it will all melt when it warms up not like mud :P Im at a little dissability cause i dont have a lift. It still is fun tho!

yup, thank goodness Im a little further south than some of yall! We got a good chunk the past couple days, supposedly getting hit again tuesday....

This is true...your diffs are still going to be pushing more snow than your bumper tho!

 

That may be but the more extreme ones that company offers the diff sits at about the same height as the bumper. Those are more made for jeeps though, the extreme one's have a mount on top of the diff where the axle mounts and it pivots from there. Those are made for extreme offroaders and rock climbers though.
