Default is there such thing as too many miles for a programmer

ive got a 2002 dodge with the 4.7 liter v8 and have 152,xxx miles on it and was wondering if it would be a bad idea to put a programmer on it and what effects it would have on the engine and transmission. everything is stock as far as the transmission, and the only performance modifications which isnt much is an exhaust and K&N air filter

deffinetly not. i pretty much have the same exact setup sept an '03 and i had a SuperChips programmer on my truck. if anything it would help your truck run smoother and better. it wont harm anything at all. your good man
