I have an 08 1500 and I'm having an issue with the A/C fan speed control. If I select the 3rd setting on the fan control it blows as if I'm on the first setting. I think it's a resistor issue, but I haven't pulled the switch assembly yet. Is it easy to replace the resistors? I would like to fix it myself instead of leaving my truck at the dealer all day.

 

i think it is a resistor issue. it always seems to be a resistor issue...even when i think it's just the switch. i say you yank the switch and make sure it's working alright, otherwise go snag a resistor.
