well i just did the tmr delete mode by pulling the #10 wire and wow. the huge rpm drop between second and third is gone. my truck used to just get spanked as soon as 3rd gear kicked in but now right when it shifts it feels like i just clutched it and takes off again. normal driving on the freeway, there was a lag i could feel right after shifting into third were it felt like the transmission was slipping then it hooks up a couple seconds later but now that is all fixed. I know you all probably heard this millions of times but now im pumped. Next on my list is the resistor for the air sensor but besides that, is there any free/ cheap mods to make the truck feel faster? tricks of the trade, anything else?

 

Well there's a couple good reasons to keep our old girls. I have also done the TMR mod, but not the resistor you spoke of. I have a SC 3865 tuner installed and I didn't get the big change you spoke of because it was already tuned out. The 03's aren't being supported by the latest tuners that are coming out so we have to rely on changing torque converters, gears, exhaust and the normal engine mods. But heh, they look good and shouldn't be discounted when cranked up.
