I love my hemi, BUT..

The CTD makes more power, lasts longer, gets better fuelmileage, and makes a lot more power under mods, with more available mods. It's clearly the better motor.

 

Wheres the 5.2 and the 5.9 choices? Or are we just doin the absolute current line up?

I would definateley pick the Hemi for power or the CTD for towing. I don't think i would get a Ram with any other motor...

 

Yea, "best" is too general a term. I equate it to "which would I choose", and I had to vote for the Cummins. I love my Hemi, but if I had to do it all over again, and it was June 2004 and I walked back on the lot, I'd opt for a 2500 CTD 4x4. Unfortunately, I have too much in mods tied up in the Hemi now and since I had to quitemy job and move to take care of my parents, I'm making about 30% of what I did then. So, I'll just have to "make do" with my old junker truck for a few more years...

lol...but the truth is it does spank the cummins.

but of course out of the choices the cummins is the best, mod for mod itll kill any hemi, and put up a fight with the srt 10. gets better mileage, lasts longer. come on. . . . .

i voted cummins. thats my dream engine. lol. i wanna get a 2006 3500 dually with 07 headlights, white, mega cab, ctd, laramie. id do to it as much as that one guy did with his black dually that has his page with his ferrari, bmw, lambo, and kenworth, and hummer.
