Projector Headlight Went Out - What to do?
I bought a set of projector headlights in August. Just recently, the projector headlight went out. Each headlight has a projector headlight for low-beam and a regular bulb for high-beam.
Is there a method to fix this? Is it a bulb that I can replace in the projector headlight?

rams come with a single bulb that has both hi/low in one bulb in the oem headlights. when you go to projectors they usually have 2 bulbs(1 hi and 1 low beam). so to answer your question you should be able to just pull out the bulb and replace it if its like most other projector lights.
if your going to spend the money on new bulbs you might as well consider an hid kit for the projector lenses and make use out of them! you can get a plug and play kit for low beam for like 80 bucks or so and they are BRIGHT! and legal in the projector lenses because thats what they are made for. i just bought 2 kits one for my fogs and one for my hi/low beams in my stock housings. not so much legal but cool as hell! its like day and night i love mine.
Nah, they're probably the same sucky H1's mine came with. I'm going to try new brand-name H1's before going HID.
Projectors use bulbs like every other headlight in the world. They aren't lifetime nor are they irreplaceable!

I really had no idea. The "projector" light is out on the drivers side, but I followed your advice (and talked to the fella at Advance) and he said that it's simply just a bulb with that globe around it to "project" it. Simple enough.
Whenever they both worked, the projector lights were dim. I guess this could be for a variety of reasons, but probably because it is a cheap bulb inside it. Additionally, the high-beams are very narrow. They don't expand far. SilverStar says their bulbs are brighter both farther and wider. We'll see.
