My wife and I just went to the store. I asked what she thought of the muffler, she replied, "sounds tough but what's that smell?" Now I'm getting over a cold and haven't regained my sense of smell, and she wasn't able to describe the smell. I thought I read somewhere that Flowmasters stink for a while but just can't remember. Is this true?

 

hmm, I don't remember smellin anything that was out of the ordinary.

 

Thanks, I can't tell you how much I looked to find a muffler that had the sound I wanted without going overboard and staying in my budget (hard with a 6er). Always seemed to come back to this one.

Anytime Ive ever had exhaust work done, I always recall a certain smell for a short while, like 100 miles or so. Ive had ....... 4 new FM setups over the past couple-3 years.
