I don't know what its called but it says "stabilus" on it and its the thing that keeps the hood open when you lift it up.

Well I somehow broke the right side one and I need to find somewhere to buy a new one.

I did a quick search online since im in a hurry to leave but could not find the same piece.

any suggestions?

 

go to fleet farm. They sell the hydraulic struts in pretty much any length.. i got a pair for my wifes 95 intrepid for 20 bucks each.
