i would say do all maintenance first. you never know how well the last owner took care of it. air filter, plugs and wires, oil change, tranny fluid, diff fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid/pads and rotors if needed. thatll eat up a couple hundred at least. then level it, intake, exhaust and tuner. see how much left you have

thanks guys so far been looking at the truck for a couple hours the truck has new plugs, new wires, mopar cold air intake, new belts, i just changed the motor oil-tranny oil-rad test good-front and rear diffs-and bled the brakes and changes flui(i have been busy) tires are brand new wich is good as for exhaust i will do it tomorow i have 2 dynomax glass packs to put on from a older project. What do u guys think of chrome rocker panels? they will save paint chip thats for sure, i do want the 8 inch panels since i have no side molding but does anyone have them on their trucks will it look goofy?

i'm not a fan of the chrome rockers...

so far you are off to a good start with the maintenance. i would color match all the chrome and paint the wheels black (those wheels look good black IMO) get a tuner, crank the bars, get an alignment, bodylift, 35's, HID's, rollup bed cover, spray in bed liner and have them spray the rockers while theyre at it, debadge, tint... there you're poor.

oh, and those mirrors look dumb on there, my stockers would look much better. we should trade, i will pay shipping

nice truck BTW...

With those colors I would honestly go chrome. But black would still look sick.

Nice truck!

thanks to all for the ideas! i am going with chrome for this color choice, i think it will be ok. as for the upgrades i ordered HIDs, level kit (free a buddy gave me his), a whack of chrome stuff and hella spotties. I noticed though the clear coat is coming off on the passenger front panel about a one inch circle...anyone have any quik fix ideas besides sending it into the body shop....would clear coat in a can work? the exposed paint is looks OK to me so any ideas?

I have a blue one also. Chrome is what I suggest, I may be biased though as that is what I did. Like Cowboy said do a 6" and the tires look by IMO.
