Which shocks/struts?

as i originally said, i am not going to be doing any off-roading, but michigan has very many potholes.which would better suite me? which is better quality bilstein or rancho kit? i like the idea of 2.5" for rancho and that its adjustable. I dont want a rough ride though. which should i get?

I'm thinking probably the rancho. I also need rear shocks. I have about 160 bucks for rear shocks. I don't want any with red or yellow on them. Just black or silver with blue would be fine. Which shocks for the rear?

they look and sound great except this part: Compression bumpstop on chassis may need to be modified to prevent damage to the shock absorber.
does that need to be done? if so how do i do that? thanks.
