Default drivetrain thump or clunk

Had a thump or clunk occur yesterday while going down the road. Coasting I believe. What could it be? I have a 2004 1500 2wd with 3.92 gears. I believe it also has lsd. Thanks for the help!

did this happen when you were coasting and then hit the gas?
That could be the transmission.....nothing unusual really, or could be the u-joints are getting worn which is a cheap enough fix.

I was just coasting, if I gave it gas it wasnt much. It was almost like it shifted to a lower gear but didnt raise the rpms. It is the first time that it has happened. If it does it again I may have to take it to a mechanic.
