Default 06 tie rod help

I am looking for some help
I have a 06' dodge ram 2500 gas(hemi) auto
any way, I hit a deer at 75mph, a bunch of front end damage
the repair place re did the whole front end, and replaced the tie rods 3 months ago!

any ways, I was doing an oil change yesterday, and greasing all my fittings, and found the grease fitting on the passenger side tie rod, , the zerk fitting was missing, seems to have un screwed it self!
does anyone know what size fitting I need to get to replace?
and where to get one!
the repair shop said it was there when they replaced it( the tie rods)
and offered no help to get a fittings, wanted to sell me a new tie rod!
didn't care it was only 100 days old!, and they replaced it!!
Thanks

The zert fitting can be bought at any auto supply store. I am totally surprise that the shop didn't pull a spare out of a tool box and screw it in for you. Says a lot about the shop.

thats what I was thinking when I went back

I went to a local auto parts store, and
they told me I need to know the exact size, due to having too long of treads will be a probelm, and also need to know the tread of it

this is what I am looking for, so I don't get a wrong one!
thanks again

If you have a second car or a buddy, why don't you unscrew the zerk fitting off of the other replaced tie rod and take it as reference to the auto parts store and put them both back in? Just a possible thought.
