Help me spend my $$$$$
I need some suggestions on how to spend some money on my Ram. I am looking for functional performance minded mods, not going for looks upgrades. I have about $1000 to spend (will be doing the mods in the spring when it warms up). My truck is my daily driver so I have to keep it as reliable as possible and not kill my fuel mileage, but I want more performance.
Here is what I have now:
05 1500 QCSB Hemi 4x4
factory 3.92s with Anti-Spin diff
Catback exhaust
Diablo Sport Predator (93 tune)
Summer tires (Hankook Ventus ST RH06 on aftermarket 20s)
and Winter tires(Hankook I*Pike on factory 20s)
Taurus Efan (not installed yet, but I have everything I need except warmer weather)
So whacha think?

If you are only looking do do one mod I'd go for a set of 4.56's. Mileage will be about the same if not better and the benefits you'll get are going to be great as far as performance goes.
If not, go hearders and a ported throttle body

he only has 1 grand to spend lol. Could pull it off you installed them by yourself. Also, if you do a gear change, make sure you switch out the lsd and get sumthing without clutchpacks like the Detroit tru track
I am not sure about gears. I think 3.92s are about right for a daily driver as it is not screaming on the highway but has some grunt for towing and city driving. I could go to 4.10s but that is not much of a gain and 4.56s I think would be to low with stock sized tires. If I was lifted with 35+ tires 4.56s would be at the top of the list.
taurus efan is and electric cooling fan (located by the radiator) out of a Ford taurus with 3.8L v6, that will replace the stock mechanical fan. This frees up a few HP and gives better fuel mileage.

Mine are smaller than stock (31.25" tall) and I have 4.56's. Its my daily driver and I dont have one bad thing to say about them. They dont howl going down the road and shouldn't unless the install was bad or off.
4.56 gears for front and rear will be about $600, plus 4-500 for DTT is over my budget especially once you figure in beer and pizza for my buddy to help (he is a mechanic and I will use his garage with lift and tools that I don't have like gauge to set backlash and pinion puller).
For headers, pacesetter lts seem popular, how are the lasting for you guys? I had trouble with the hookers on my 79 chevy with a BB. I would blow them out after about 3 years, and they were ceramic coated.
