How do I remove the plastic around the steering column on my 02 Dodge 1500? I have a loose wire in the column that powers the fan motor that I need to repair. Thanks
The upper and lower plastic shrouds are screwed together. Pull the screws and seperate carefully. The manual recommends disconnecting the battery to avoid accidently setting off the airbag while working on the steering column.
