I put the 4.56 in mine along with a TransGo 545RFE Shift kit at the same time and I am very happy with the performance improvements

Much more get up and go from a stop and will spin the 20's (Crappy OEM Goodyear's) right off if I'm not careful...

Please be aware that wet weather traction on the OEM tires is non-existent with this gear.. I spin from almost every light I pull away from no matter how I try not too.

I NEED DIFFERENT TIRES BADLY!!!!

good luck

For on road use I would put in like a DTT or Auburn, if you love playin in some soupy freakin mud or like to go rock crawling get an ARB airlocker or E-lock.

Save your money and get the stage 2 or 3 VB from Moe's then find somebody like KRC Performance who can reprogram the PCM trans points..... The kit isn't too spectacular after 10K go by..... The computer learns the higher pressures and adjusts shifts to the softer side...

Guys the OP has an nv3500 manual tranny. So a couple things to remember are his overdrive ratio is 0.73 vs. 0.67 on the automatic and w/ 4.56's and 33's at 70 he would be turning about 2400 rpm where the auto would be about 2200 rpm. Now w/ 4.10's at 70 he would be 2133 rpm which is pretty much the same as the auto w/ 4.56's.
