so,

first question is what is the redline of a 4.7 magnum... there is no red or yellow on my tach.... it just goes up to 8k

2nd question is... tracking down where i blew all my coolant?

today going to work up a grade i was pushing the truck to 5500 rpm.... tonite as i was leaving within 5 minutes of driving i redlined the temp gauge shut her down and called for a tow.... coolant everywhere except where it should be.

checked the dipstick... looks ok... hopefully not a head gasket.

will check hoses etc in the daylight....

any good ideas how to track down the cause or blown component?
