Default 05 4.7 cold air intake!

spending next weeks hard earned paycheck to beef up my baby.

two i'm looking at the most are k&n

http://www.4wheelparts.com/K-N-Intak...4555&t_pl=2783

one with HP: 8.63 HP @ 4688 RPM and the other HP: 6.80 HP @ 4743 RPM. gonna go for the 8.63. cheaper too, idk why.

any complaints with these? or does anyone know of any better intakes out there? or is there a better way to waste 330 dollars on performance parts? :P

Just get this one and save some money for another mod http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk...%26+Drivetrain. They're all just filters on a stick and the power difference between them isn't enough to matter. The only issue w/ the one I posted is the bracket on the filter end may break so you might have to fab up your own which is no big deal. You might also want to get an AEM dry flow filter for it to replace the one that comes w/ it. For future reference you will probably get more help in the 3rd gen. section or just by looking through the FAQ's there.

Install shouldn't be bad and if they forget the instructions just go look up them for the AEM brute force b/c they're almost exactly the same.
