Default Leaking Gas Tank

Im so mad right now because this morning i went to start my truck to go to school and it wouldn't start. So i thought it was the battery. So my friend that i take gets out to call his brother for a battery charger and i go to start it again and he yelled to me saying i was leaking gas. Its like a spray coming out of the top of the tank he says so we think its under pressure. hopefully its nothing too serious.

spraying out and pressurized cannot be good. Better be very careful with it.

Don't let a spark within a mile of that thing! Did you try takin off the gas cap to relieve some of the pressure? I know sometimes when I go to fill mine I hear a sound like its releasing a bunch of pressure when I take off the cap.

Yea took it to the dealer. Apparently the previous owner ran something over and it messed with the whole underside and he replaced the the metal fuel line that runs from the tank to the engine with a plastic one. I don't know how the dealership I bought it from didn't catch it but its costing $950 to be it fixed. So hopefully the dealership will realize their mistake and cover the cost. Doubt it though
