Default Gauges question

I may have a problem and need some help or advice. I have a 2004 QC 5.7 and have noticed on some colder mornings in NJ half of my gauges will not work, and the check gauges light will come on. If I shut the truck back off and restart it the gauges come on fine. I do not drive the truck daily and it is not every time I start it just once in a while. I bought the truck last May and never noticed it in the warmer weather.

Don't know if it helps but the gauges that do not come on are the tach, oil pressure and temp.

Thanks

I'd pull the cluster and check connections, if that fails I'd take her to the dealer and have them look at it. Theres so much computer crap in the cluster and in these trucks in general it makes electrical issues a bitch to deal with.

Thanks for the help, I guess I'll just take it in. I thought there may be an easy fix but since it is under warranty I am better off letting them look at it and maybe get some new parts out of the deal.
