yea im wanting to get my windshield tinted...only thing is they will actually tow your vehicle for that

 

thats crazy wouldnt it just be a moving violation?

 

no its some kind of endangerment or something. When i was getting the tint put on this truck, my tint guy had just got bailed out THAT morning (he was late doing mine) for getting busted by a state trooper on the way from school to home the prior day. They towed his truck and crap.

Hes been doing my tint and a ton of people ive sent to him for probably 8 years. He had tinted windshields on every vehicle hes owned, and done quite a few too. That was his first bust on it, so I guess its just wrong place with a pissed off cop

 

Tinted my front 20% along with my sides to match. I believe I wiil go darker on the sides, didn't match like I wanted. But I don't have any issue with the cops so it's a plus.

Too bad just sold a pair of black step bars for my quad cab for a $100. I bought them and never put 'em on.

 

Virginia is also strict on tinting. My front windsheild is illegal because of the six inch strip across the top.

 

I guess I spoke way too soon... Today I was sitting in a parking lot and a cop pulled in and decided to go get a coffee and then came out and aprroached my truck and told me my tint was too dark and it was indangering the officers lives, so he asked me for my license and reg. And I gave it to him and he walked to his car and stood outside of it and looked at them and then came back to my window and said "my Cars off right now and it's gonna take to long to get the cumputer running so I'm gonnA go to the baracks and talk to my "boss" and see what he says but if I deciced to send you a take it though the mail..." and then I asked if he was gonna send one and he said " don't count on it maybe" soo I hope not!!! What a terrible day I have like 350 dollars worth of tint what do you guys think

Well I have My back slider window done with 20 over factory and then I have a 5%tint strip and then I have 35% on my whole windsheild and then my side windows at 15%... What do you guys think the cops gonna do?

 

I got a $109.50 citation for "unlawful activity" for driver and passenger tint.

I removed it cause the fat boy that cited me warned me first time and then pulled me over a 2nd time. ***.

 

i just dont understand why he didnt cite me right then and there... any ideas?
