with that being said what other trannys will the hemi bolt up to?? will it bolt up to older trannys or is it just gonna be newer more expensive stuff it bolts to...i was thinking an NV4500 5spd...and no not for my truck...i have other plans

 

nvm i found that 04/05 hemi 2500's came with the NV4500 as an option so im good to go

 

The new hemi has the same bolt pattern minus one bolt (up top, I think) as an LA/Magnum small block. You need a spacer since the crank sticks out a bit more and a special flex plate and either longer snout starter or probably modify the housing so a stock style starter can be used. Haven't done this swap myself, S&P would be the place to look.
