Is there play after the Repak?? My guess is your fine with the repak and no play don't over tighten and don't forget the cotter pins! Now go sledding and no apologies we're big boys with big toys here.

For a guess, I'd say those will fail on you before you get back home.

Ask a mechanic before you leave. Those bearings didn't loosen up over night the only way they fail is from heat and loss of there bearings. unless they have races but you said repacked so I'm guessing ball bearing. Tough call I know what you mean about $ and the wife, they just don't understand we are addicted too this stuff I know I am I never spent so much in so little in my life. Well over a grand and I've owned my night runner for 5 days lol

I love the truck its awesome dark and mean looking with the ***** to prove it. But back to your delemma witch side is loose why I ask? cause the road is usually pitched to the right, your loose bearing will have more stress if on the pass side albeit not much but a little. I dunno worse case senario you breakdown in a snow storm thats what I hear in new england where the men are men and the sheep are nervous.

The wheel either falls off or seizes up either way your stuck! Not too mention scaring the s%$# out of everyone and you.
